Forever Grateful for Our Baby Whisperers

I cannot even begin to find words to describe how life-changing the ATX Baby Whisperers are. I remember coming home from the hospital with my baby, having no idea how to begin my first night with him. Heather literally swooped in on that first night and walked me through what our nights were going to look like. Fast forward to three months later, and my guy was an incredible, independent sleeper, staying in his crib from 7-7. ATX Baby Whisperers worked with us through our entire newborn journey: the nursing to formula transition, sleep training, crying/fussiness, and any other concerns we had. These ladies truly became a part of our family and cared for our baby as if he was their own. We will forever be grateful for their help, guidance, support, and love.

Heather and her team were life savers! We brought our 28 weeker preemie twin boys home after a 10 week NICU stay and as first time parents, we had no idea what we were doing. Heather’s experience, knowledge and demeanor were exactly what we needed! She helped with everything from alleviating fussiness & unique diaper rash causes (it was the formula!) to product recommendations, to figuring out how much milk to offer/feed and how often. She helped us understand cues for increasing feeds and changing nipple flows. She helped with schedules and why it’s so important to keep schedules with twins. She treated & loved my children as if they were her own, and allowed us some much needed rest and relaxation. Her sleep training method worked really well for all three of my children. They’ve all been such wonderful sleepers since they were little. I am forever grateful for that! Heather was my first call when I got pregnant with my third! We’ve enjoyed meeting everyone on her team and had wonderful experiences! I’ve told everyone I know, the most important thing you should budget for when you’re expecting is ATX Baby Whisperers!

Lifesavers for Our Preemie Twins

As the mother of two small children and one on the way, I was worried that I would have the energy needed to care for my family if I was awake all night with a newborn. Having never worked with a night nurse previously, I did not know what to expect. To say that I was overwhelmingly surprised and relieved to meet and work with Heather is an understatement. While she was only with us for 12 weeks, she seamlessly became part of the family. The peace of mind and comfort that she provided in a very stressful time was so greatly appreciated that it makes me tear up to this day. She is a registered nurse and quickly helped me identify an urgent medical condition at 3 weeks of age that we got diagnosed and successfully treated. Heather and her team are true baby whisperers and our family is so thankful to have met them.

The Support Every Family Deserves

All I can say is that Heather is an incredible Godsend and worth every penny (which I wouldn't say lightly). We hired her for 3-nights a week and based on what I've heard from other friend's experiences with their night nurses, Heather really takes it to the next level...taking out trash, cleaning dishes, emptying diaper pails, cleaning pumping equipment, etc. Basically making you feel very pampered during a time when you're not getting much pampering. Very reliable, communicative, and loving. Get all you can out of her knowledge of sleep training! Also, she has trained as a nurse which proved to be incredibly important for us. When our little girls were about 1 month old, one of our girls stopped eating over the weekend. We took her into her pediatrician on Saturday and they dismissed it as gas...but she was starting to look grey-ish by Sunday evening, when Heather came. After my 2am pump session, Heather told me she was concerned about her and that we should take her to Dell Children's. If it weren't for her experience, I'd probably have waited until the morning but I'm so glad I didn't! Turns out our daughter had extremely low sodium levels (cause still unknown!) and could have experienced seizures if we hadn't addressed it sooner. Everything turned out well and our daughter made a steady recovery but I've always been incredibly grateful for Heather at that time!!
